Casa Alegre sits on a narrow deep lot on a major street and is surrounded by multi-family and educational facilities. The design sets the common spaces on the street and the main residential building perpendicular to create a small courtyard for the residents. Surface parking is at the rear of the lot and buffers noise from the adjacent playground.
