The Ocean Park Housing Cooperative consists of 43 units of affordable housing developed concurrently on five sites in the Ocean Park area of Santa Monica. The planning and design for the project evolved through a series of community workshops. In response to the community, the sites are designed as village-like complexes. Details, materials, and colors are reminiscent of early 20th century California bungalow and Craftsman precedents still cherished by current residents.
